The Van Dorn Water Sampler, available as either horizontal or vertical models in capacities of 1L, 2L and 3L. They are available with either transparent or non transparent bodies. The devices are messenger operated.

The Marpet Water Sampler has a capacity of 500ml. The bottle holding the water sample can be removed from the sampler body once the sample has been obtained, and replaced with another bottle. This alleviates the necessity to decant the sample immediately after it is taken. This means that the design is ideal for obtaining multiple samples. The device is messenger operated.

Van Veen Grab Samplers manufactured in 316 stainless steel. Sampling areas available of 0.025mē, 0.045mē or 0.1mē (other sizes available on request).

Access lids enable sub-samplers to be taken or probes to be inserted into the sediment before the sample is removed from the grab.

Plankton Net

We can provide a wide range of Plankton Nets with hoop diameters of 200, 300, 400 and 500mm. The nets can be either towed vertically or hauled horizontally. They are supplied with a removable collection bottle in the base of the net, capacity 250ml, and ware supplied with a bridle. Mesh sizes are available from 10 to 1000 microns
